To market these solutions and manage relationships with your business partners so they are never taken by surprise, you work closely with your Product Team and Engineering Team(s). You are a born leader who genuinely cares about the needs of the consumer. You like overcoming difficult obstacles by paying close attention to the details and taking actionable decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- With a cross-functional team of Engineers and Design, define and maintain a product roadmap and backlog for high impact or ground-breaking products to create the highest value for our clients and users.
- Examine a range of quantitative and qualitative consumer input, market information, and statistics on company needs to determine the best course of action for our most important products in terms of user adoption and financial results.
Conduct internal stakeholder and customer interviews and research to validate concepts and solutions for experiences that span several products. – Lead problem and solution discovery initiatives. - Select and monitor important KPIs for gauging the worth of your offering.
- Develop a network with senior corporate partners to learn about their objectives and limitations.
- Identifying and researching fresh opportunities inside the allocated product can help you get perspective on the kind of product you should be working on.
- Create quantifiable success criteria and use them to approve or reject projects.
- Track Work Orders, Bugs, and Known Issues to spot patterns and sort fixes for various goods.
- Drive Agile ceremonies, such as planning, refinement, demos, and retrospectives, or coach others to do so.
- Offer suggestions for their product’s central positioning and messaging, which will be reflected in their marketing, training, sales, and other supporting materials.
- May serve as a mentor and help organize the efforts of other product managers
Requirements
- A BS in business, finance, computer engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Certification in Product Management
- 5+ years of experience in managing software products.
- 2+ years of experience leading in a SaaS context – 2+ years of expertise with agile environments
- Experience with HCM, Payroll, or HRIS software for at least a year
