In our HR Shared Services environment, the HR Answers Inquiry Analyst acts as the “front door to HR” and is the main point of contact for employees. In order to create a superior employee experience, you will be in charge of implementing a customer-focused approach to problem-solving, addressing employee inquiries and issues, and more. You will be required to use case management and knowledge base tools to handle these enquiries within predetermined service level agreements (SLAs), as well as to exercise empathy and critical thinking to empower our staff and promote self-service.

  • In accordance with established SLAs and quality criteria, offering general HR advice and assistance for employee inquiries.
  • Handling a lot of staff inquiries every day while being upbeat.
  • Making use of a knowledge base platform to assist and answer to employee enquiries, including understanding numerous policies and processes to ascertain the required resolution accurately and in accordance with compliance standards.
  • Collaborating with subject-matter specialists and providing the staff with a conclusive answer.
  • As required, escalate employee concerns and/or questions to the relevant service teams and subject matter experts.
  • Displaying effective leadership qualities in decision-making, problem-solving, and team environments.
  • Finding out about the various technologies that can support managing employee inquiries and resolutions.
  • Evaluating daily incoming work and setting backup support priorities accordingly.
  • Working independently to communicate in a team setting and fulfill service level promise.
  • Establishing a positive rapport and acting with courtesy and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Putting the Verizon principles into practice each and every day.

You will primarily work from home in this remote position, with sporadic on-site trainings and meetings.


You will require:

  • A bachelor’s degree or at least one year of professional experience
  • Knowledge of human resources
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, roughly.
