Completely remote work from anywhere in the United States

Available shifts: 8:00 AM EST – 4:30 PM EST (Monday – Friday) and 9:30 AM EST – 6:00 PM EST (Monday – Friday)

Behavioral Health Customer Service Representatives provide advocate care to help members find a clear path to care, understand and resolve claims, and educate members using online resources.

The CSR walks the member through their benefits plan, Aetna policies and procedures, and has knowledge of resources to help them comply with any regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops an emotional connection with our members by fully understanding and engaging the member in order to advocate for our members’ best health. Taking responsibility for fully understanding the needs of the member by developing a trusting and caring relationship with the member. Anticipates customer requirements.
  • Examines member claim history for accuracy in tracking benefit maximums and/or coinsurance/deductible. As needed, performs financial data maintenance. Explains the rights and responsibilities of the member in accordance with the contract.

Pay Scale

The typical salary range for this position is: Maximum: 27.90 Minimum: 17.00

Please keep in mind that this range represents the average pay for all positions in the job grade in which this position is located. The actual salary offer will consider a variety of factors, including location.

Requirements:

Qualifications Required

  • 1+ years of customer service experience in a call center environment. – Technical experience with computers, dual monitors, or previous administrative experience in health care.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and multitask.

Qualifications Preferred

  • Previous experience in Behavioral Health.
  • An Associates Degree – A background in medicine or insurance.

Education: A high school diploma or its equivalent is required. GED
