Candidates for remote positions MUST adhere to the WFH criteria and use their OWN equipment (no iPads, Macs, or Chromebooks).
Schedule for training: M-F 8:00am–5:00pm for three weeks (Nesting is 1 week)
M-F, 8:00am–6:00pm, FULL TIME SCHEDULE (After the training period, schedules are subject to modification. The business’s requirements are taken into consideration when choosing the schedules. The length of the schedules is eight hours, including a 30-minute lunch break and two (2) 15-minute breaks. Closers must wait in line until the “all-clear” signal has been issued.
Responsibilities:
On the phone, customer service agents will assist MD residents in enrolling in health insurance (Medicare/Medicaid) under the Affordable Care Act. All day long, representatives will be on the phone, therefore they must be ready to function in a fast-paced setting. The MDHBE project is being supported by the same call center work. The number of calls that are expected to come into the center as a result of the PHE (Public Health Emergency) ending is increasing.

Further abilities & credentials:
- GED or a high school diploma is required (EDU VER)
- Applicants with at least one year of experience in a contact center or on a high volume phone line
- Experience in a call center is preferred.
- Strong phone and data entry skills are required.
- Ability to simultaneously talk and type
- Computer proficiency is required.
