A healthcare union services organization close to Downtown Seattle is hiring 30–40 Call Center Representatives for a 3-month contract.
Customer service representative Job Title/Function Contract/Contract to Hire: Contract for the time being.
For the life of the contract, remote: No-onsite; hybrid upon conversion
Russian, Korean, Vietnamese, Cantonese, and Mandarin are requested languages. Pay: $20–21 for English-only speakers, $22–24 DOE if bilingual Vaccinations needed: YES.
Responsibilities:
- Taking incoming calls from members; a typical day involves 40 or more calls.
- Recording calls utilizing data entry systems.
- Handle emails and different document requests.
- Qualified individuals may be requested to translate written materials during meetings or representational proceedings.
- Assist members with enrolling in training programs.
- First-step representation for grievances and filing a grievance.
- Referral to the staff team that handles collective bargaining and employer relationships.
Requirements:
- Capability of working in a hectic setting (handling a high volume of calls, and representatives are often required to handle 40-50 calls per day)
- 1+ year of direct customer service experience (in restaurants, call centers, retail, technical assistance, and hospitality); capacity for critical thought; stable work history (few gaps in employment; prolonged employment with one company); and computer/technical skills
