Customer service representatives engage with clients in courteous, effective, personable, and professional ways.
Responsibilities:
- Sells and promotes air travel to potential customers or freight forwarders.
- Aids in the acceptance of goods and passenger check-in.
- Interprets laws and regulations regarding local and foreign travel as well as cargo transfers.
- Meets and releases aircraft at the designated periods.
- Assists travellers and customers who are in need.
- Protects the assets and profits of the company.
- Ensures a safe journey.
- Possesses the physical stamina and dexterity needed to complete a variety of job-related tasks using motor skills.
- Use organizational abilities to do numerous jobs in a constrained amount of time.
- Is self-driven and needs little supervision.
- Responds and offers assistance in emergency and security circumstances.
- Obeys all rules and regulations, both internal and external.
- To board and disembark passengers from different types of aircraft, it can be necessary to drive and operate air stairs.
- Duties related to Passenger Operation Control, such as air-to-ground communication, and Tower functions, may be necessary.
- This role may work in a variety of weather situations depending on the airport’s location.
- Customer service agents work shifts that involve irregular and/or extended hours, weekends, and holidays due to flight operations.
Requirements:
Minimum requirements include education and previous work experience.
- GED, high school diploma, or equivalent internationally
- In some places, the requirement for bilingualism
- Suitable, current driver’s license, as needed by the local government
- To be eligible for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if appropriate, one must pass FAA criminal background checks.
- Must be able to obtain the necessary security badges from the airport administration and/or US Customs, if necessary.
- Pre-employment drug testing, thorough background checks, and/or fingerprinting are completed in accordance with company and security regulations.
- Must be qualified to work in the United States.

- Prior experience providing face-to-face customer service, working understanding of Sabre or any other Passenger Service System
