Position Description:

A world-class customer experience is ensured by the support representative for customer service while also providing education about the product and managing a wide range of inquiries. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and motivated to work with a team that is focused on the customer in an innovative company.


  • Serving as a link between LabCorp’s client base and patients
  • Resolving routine customer inquiries about goods or services via telephone, live chat, or the Internet
  • Communicating with customers in a succinct, kind, and professional manner while adhering to protocol
  • To inquire about, clarify, and confirm the client’s requirements and their understanding of the solution.
  • Providing more training and information to the client as needed
  • Recruiting and setting up new customers who want LabCorp products and services.
  • Working with multiple data bases to research complex questions and issues
  • Providing clients with timely and accurate notification of test results
  • Reviewing the test forms to ensure their accuracy and notifying of any discrepancies
  • Taking part in activities aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and business performance
  • To provide administrative support for managing medical records, maintaining CRM data, and maintaining internal records to ensure HIPAA compliance.


  • Secondary school diploma or the equivalent in the GED is required.
  • Positive consideration will be given to a mid-level or higher degree of education.
  • prior customer service experience
  • Experience working in a call center or contact center is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the health industry, such as working for a medical office or hospital, is definitely a bonus.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge is required; Salesforce.com and/or laboratory information systems experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as an exceptional capacity for listening and responding. Must be concise with a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent multifaceted abilities are required.
  • Excellent flexibility and the ability to manage and quickly adjust to changes in priorities.
  • Very desirable bilingual in English and Spanish
