Position Description:

As a Customer Success Manager, you will provide unmatched product knowledge of our email security solution, Avanan, and assist our customers in protecting themselves against phishing attacks, malware, data leakage, and other threats. You will serve as the primary advocate for strategic customers across a broad spectrum of industries, communicate key customer requirements and insights back to our product team, and assist our customers in maximizing the value of our platform.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out our post-sale onboarding procedure in order to bring the Avanan platform into production and provide initial training.
  • Assist and monitor customers’ ongoing deployment and utilization of Avanan’s products and services.
  • Contribute to the creation of knowledge base articles and user guides
  • Direct crisis and incident response, collaborating with the account team, technical support, operations, and engineering teams to ensure resolution in a timely manner, while maintaining effective customer communication.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain customer support channels, including email, chat, phone, text, social, and (when possible) on-site, to review support interactions, system status, major issues, upcoming releases, and other pertinent information.
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Sales to measure customer satisfaction and gather customer feedback for each business area.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with important customer decision-makers
  • Identify new opportunities (Upsell/Cross-sell) within existing accounts and maintain existing accounts (renewal)
  • Liaison with other departments (Products, Engineering, Support) regarding field priorities and ongoing product roadmap priorities; internal customer advocate.

Your Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid comprehension of how Internet protocols operate (HTTP, SMTP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTTP/S, SMTP, DNS, LDAP, or other comparable protocols, Linux, Office 365, and G Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written technical presentation and communication skills
  • Interaction with customers in the relevant industry.
  • Technical knowledge of messaging and Internet security fundamentals
  • Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Additionally, it would be great if you had:

  • CISSP or other certification in cyber security
  • Proficiency in Spanish as a second language
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field Team spirit!
  • Believe in gaining new knowledge daily!
