Position Description:

Would you like to assist patients and their families in comprehending their medical costs and providing resolution options? Are you seeking a position with a reputable organization that offers steady hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and excellent benefits, where your customer service and contributions are valued?

We wish to speak with you! We are seeking full-time, compassionate, and skilled Healthcare Customer Service Representatives to join our team permanently. You will deal with patients and their families to explain their medical costs and establish payment terms that are affordable.

What you’ll do:

  • Utilize your enthusiasm for assisting people to deliver exceptional customer service, work with patients over the phone on inexpensive payment plans and settlements, and accept phone payments.
  • Using empathy and exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills to assist patients and their families in understanding their bill, including addressing questions regarding their debt and the medical billing procedure.
  • Utilizing your computer skills, organization, and attention to detail, document daily calls and follow-ups in our software systems appropriately.
  • Contributing to the success of your team by regular attendance, superior work ethic, and a compassionate team orientation.
  • Continuously growing, including coaching/feedback from your manager and team leaders, and continual training through lunch-and-learn events.

Requirements

  • Must be a Colorado resident with at least two years of professional experience and a track record of employee retention.
  • Prioritize experience in customer service and/or healthcare (but not required)
  • Work authorization in the US
  • High school graduation or GED
  • Advanced novice to intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Skills in both English and Spanish are a plus!
  • typists with 40+ WPM and 90% accuracy are preferred.
