Position Description:

Senior Bilingual Healthcare Representatives interact with patients and their families everyday and act as advocates. They are in charge of keeping track of each application they get and achieving high success rates. Fundamental Duties:

  • understanding of federal and state programs
  • helping with team trainings and mentoring opportunities
  • Responsible for internal reporting, pull daily referral reports
  • About 80% of box one of the position still focuses on referrals.
  • gaining understanding of more difficult claims (for example; out of state)
  • as necessary, assist with customer meetings.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; preference for a 2- or 4-year degree
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) (English and Spanish)
  • Preferred Experience in an HCR 1 capacity for one year
  • the capacity to use knowledge of federal and state programs to determine the client’s benefit coverage

preferred credentials:

  • the capacity to interpret and use information from medical records
  • It is preferred that you have previous clinical experience or medical terminology expertise.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities; experience working with people from varied educational and socioeconomic levels (healthcare context desired); familiarity with interacting with caseworkers for the government and hospital staff
  • Strong organizational abilities, including the capacity to plan, prioritize, and follow through on assignments without direct supervision
  • knowledge of computers, particularly word processing (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, preferred)
  • understanding of every E&E service line
  • All OKRs are met or exceeded.
