Position Description:

For Transamerica customers, this position serves as a point of contact and the “voice of the company,” and it is accountable for giving callers accurate and thorough information about retirement (401K, IRA, and 403(b)) product options. Assemble a team that has the freedom to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities in the job description

  • Answer phone inquiries about retirement products like 401k, IRAs, and 403(b) investments using your excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • To achieve successful and meaningful outcomes, identify client needs and offer individualized care; where necessary, enlist the help of more knowledgeable team members.
  • Find information by employing a variety of systems and technologies.
  • Work together with cross-functional departments to gather and/or supply the information needed to address problems.
  • Record client inquiries and related activities; promptly follow up on outstanding items.
  • Acquire and keep up a working knowledge of products, processes, and systems.
  • attain departmental metrics and targets
  • Take part in a collaborative environment to meet departmental goals.


  • a business-related associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • One year of experience working in a call center, providing customer service, or working in the financial services sector
  • Ability to operate both individually and in a team Ability to interact professionally, both verbally and in writing, with consumers
  • mastery of Microsoft Office tools
