For Transamerica customers, this position serves as a point of contact and the “voice of the company,” and it is accountable for giving callers accurate and thorough information about retirement (401K, IRA, and 403(b)) product options. Assemble a team that has the freedom to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities in the job description
- Answer phone inquiries about retirement products like 401k, IRAs, and 403(b) investments using your excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- To achieve successful and meaningful outcomes, identify client needs and offer individualized care; where necessary, enlist the help of more knowledgeable team members.
- Find information by employing a variety of systems and technologies.
- Work together with cross-functional departments to gather and/or supply the information needed to address problems.
- Record client inquiries and related activities; promptly follow up on outstanding items.
- Acquire and keep up a working knowledge of products, processes, and systems.
- attain departmental metrics and targets

Qualifications
- a business-related associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- One year of experience working in a call center, providing customer service, or working in the financial services sector
- Ability to operate both individually and in a team Ability to interact professionally, both verbally and in writing, with consumers
- mastery of Microsoft Office tools
