Position Description:

As part of our dynamic, member-service company, we are looking for Emergency Roadside Specialists to handle requests for roadside help while exhibiting care for member safety and successfully defusing tense situations.

You will receive roughly 7 weeks of paid remote training to get you ready to offer our members amazing service! You will receive all necessary equipment before your training.

Responsibilities:

• Beginning at $17.85 an hour (with a 10% weekend shift differential for $19.64 an hour),
• 40 hours per week full time
• Available shifts include cover shifts and swing shifts, with start times ranging from 10 am to 7:30 pm for an 8-hour shift.
• Paid virtual training begins on February 9 and lasts for seven weeks.
• Candidates must be located within 100 miles of Portland, Maine.
• Spanish fluency and bilingualism result in a $1 raise in pay (fluency test provided)

Qualifications

• Candidates who are successful in the position have resilience in handling high-stress situations.
• ability to answer more than 100 member calls each day with great customer service.
• You must be able to establish a direct Ethernet connection to your ISP (no wireless, DSL, Satellite or Hot Spots etc.) The modem and router need to be in the same space as the PC hardware. 5 mbps upload; a minimum of 25 mbps download.
• You must have a strong willingness to go above and above for other team members in a disciplined, goal-oriented workplace.
• Success comes from having excellent verbal, writing, and computer skills.
• need one year of prior experience in customer service. Experience working in a call center is preferred but not required.
• It is essential to have a high school diploma, a GED, or an equivalent, as well as to pass a background check and a drug test.
