Position Description:

A Customer Service Support Representative is needed by LabCorp to expand our staff. To guarantee that all client needs are precisely and effectively met, this job will collaborate with doctor’s offices, hospital laboratories, patients, and internal customers. While ensuring an exceptional client experience, the customer service support representative will answer many different types of questions and give product education. Occupational Duties:

  • serve as a point of contact for patients, customers, and LabCorp
  • Respond to standard client requests for goods or services through inbound, outbound, or online calls.
  • Use protocol methods to communicate with consumers in a polite, amiable, and professional manner.
  • Investigate, elucidate, and verify the needs of the client and their comprehension of the solution
  • As necessary, provide more client education and information.
  • Identify and cultivate new inbound clients who are requesting products and services from LabCorp.
  • Utilize several resources to conduct research on complicated topics and concerns.
  • Give clients accurate and prompt notice of test results
  • Check the accuracy of the test forms and report any inconsistencies.
  • Take part in events aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and company performance.
  • To ensure HIPAA compliance, provide administrative support for the management of medical records, CRM data maintenance, and internal records.

Task Requirements:

  • Required is a high school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred, as is experience working in a contact center or call center environment.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector, such as in a doctor’s office or hospital, is definitely a bonus.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is necessary.
  • It is desirable if you have experience with Salesforce.com and/or laboratory information systems.
  • Must have good listening and responding abilities as well as a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent multitasking skills are necessary.

  • Spanish and English language fluency is strongly desired.
