Position Description:
In addition to providing standard tier 1 assistance, our analysts also investigate problems, compile specifications for new features, test software upgrades, and build and maintain the extensive toolkit we require to work across a variety of products. We consider this to be a non-traditional support position that offers variety, independence, and a willingness to enhance processes. You’re not just reading from a script; every day, you solve problems and benefit our clients.
There is never a repetition of a day or even two hours. You might begin your day by answering a bidder’s query on one of the auction sites, shift gears to assist a person experiencing trouble using their browser to make a payment, and then ask perceptive questions to determine the meaning of an email that has the message “it doesn’t work.” Following that, you might find yourself revising the help file because a caller had a question, testing the new feature you suggested once development is finished. Before you even get a chance to choose what to eat for lunch, all of this could happen.
