Position Description:

Emergent Software seeks a senior UI/UX designer with creativity, intelligence, and a passion for designing beautiful and effective custom software. A qualified candidate is an experienced UI/UX designer who has designed UI/UX and graphics for web-based custom software and websites. This position requires a self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, and work ethic.

Principal Duties

  • Develop wireframes, diagrams, interactive prototypes, and other artifacts of design.
  • Create cutting-edge website designs for clients and internal use.
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently and with effective prioritization to meet our clients’ delivery expectations.
  • Assist in selecting UI toolkits and libraries for React and Blazor projects.
  • Design marketing collateral for internal use, including one-sheets, advertisements, and infographics.
  • Additional duties assigned by your manager.

UI/UX Designer Capabilities

  • At least five years of experience designing UI/UX for web-based applications and websites
  • Graphic design experience
  • Work samples in UI/UX and graphic design Expertise in revising corporate identities and logos
  • Experience creating marketing materials Capabilities in icon and infographic design
  • Knowledge of professional design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch, InVision, and Balsamiq.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles and processes
  • Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Wonderful to Have Experience
  • Independent consulting or agency consulting experience prior to this.
  • Knowledge of React and/or Blazor UI toolkits
  • Business analysis, testing, or related software development experience
  • Knowledge of content management system (CMS)
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Standards (WCAG)
  • HTML, CSS, or JavaScript development experience
