You’ll pave the way with design thinking to bring cutting-edge concepts and designs to the customer shopping experience while promoting our product, engineering, and business teams’ experimentation processes to direct iteration.

You are a leader in creative solutions for an end-to-end customer journey across digital and physical touchpoints and are a specialist in user experience for e-commerce retail. By ongoing involvement, you’ll foster teamwork and promote user-centric results for your product portfolio.

You are a master at visual design, information architecture, and interaction design. You think in systems and work within and on behalf of an enterprise design system. You will guide other designers through the full process from concept to completion, guiding them through generative discovery, research, and iterative design solutions.

In order to power tailored, pertinent, and enjoyable guest experiences, you’ll coordinate and make use of guest insights and research. You’ll combine these tools into dynamic prototypes to encourage change, gain support from stakeholders, and drive step-level change throughout the organization with your vision. At the same time, you’ll provide our customers with consistent and considerate end-to-end guidance, assisting them in discovering happiness, belonging, and success during their Target shopping experience.

You will assume responsibility for establishing the vision and strategy for Target’s loyalty program across all digital touchpoints, including Target.com, iOS, Android, and in-store touchpoints like the point-of-sale and self-checkout. You are a leading authority on user experience at the nexus of loyalty programs, e-commerce, and retail.

As a member of your core working team, you will also serve as a mentor to young product designers by providing guidance on the design process, visual design, problem-solving, and dealing with important partners. You will determine and work together on particular junior designer development topics with your design manager.

We are a dedicated, encouraging, and diverse UX team working to improve both the guest experience and the business tools that support Target’s quickly expanding digital company. At Target, you’ll have full control over how your career develops and get good assistance for balancing work and family obligations. With thorough onboarding and support for your personal and professional development, we will be your advocates as you move forward.
