Job Description: We are looking for a QA Engineer who can contribute to the development of innovative augmented reality experiences. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. You will create test plans, strategies, cases, and automation for our SDKs and platform services. Conducting manual and automated testing, you will cover feature, integration, regression, and performance testing. Compatibility across devices and operating systems will be your responsibility to ensure a seamless user experience. Identifying, documenting, and prioritizing defects, as well as developing and maintaining automated test scripts, will streamline testing processes. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, cases, and test automation.
- Perform manual and automated testing for AR and platform software.
- Ensure compatibility with different devices and operating systems.
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects and issues.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts.
- Conduct regression testing to prevent new issues.
- Evaluate performance and scalability of AR and platform components.
- Maintain test documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Assist in the release process and deployment coordination.
- Coordinate with external QA resources.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of QA or Test Engineer experience.
- Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing for web and mobile.
- Scripting language skills (Python or Javascript).
- Experience with automated testing tools (Appium, Selenium, Calabash, etc.).
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
Pluses:
- Experience with SaaS products.
- Experience with Unity games or applications.
- Mobile development and UX experience.
- Passion for Augmented Reality (ARKit/ARCore).
- Agile/Scrum training and experience.
