Position Description:

The Federal Reserve System’s range of automation technologies for cash operations is maintained and improved by the FTS team. This is a fantastic chance to strengthen your Cash operations and technical competence in support of the goals of FedCash Services. You will adjust and fix problems that end users from each of our 28 Cash offices have reported in this job.

This job is remote and full-time.

Important obligations:

  • Perform an examination of software flaws, then suggest to management any necessary mitigation measures or fixes. Additionally, you will take part in the development and execution of initiatives for the automation of banks or systems.
  • Offer technical assistance for complex coordinated systems, including diagnostic methods for determining the reason and taking corrective action.
  • Directly assist our end-user community with technical difficulties relating to software, database problems, data transmission, and incorrect operational processing.
  • Support new application releases through application, production, and implementation assistance that is both technical and user-friendly.
  • For tracking and productivity purposes, enter troubleshooting activity into the ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • As required, take part in application testing.
  • Keep track of project and application information, such as the timetable, system requirements, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Facilitate communication between application development employees, product owners, and end users.
  • Work with our training team to create and deliver end-user training sessions, as well as to revise training materials and user manuals.
  • Record every remedial action that is taken using the ServiceNow knowledge base, including any necessary peer training. Both the learner and the educator are receiving education in both directions.
  • Conduct on-the-job training to assist with new recruit integration training.
  • Whenever necessary, finish administrative ad hoc responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or technical college, or relevant work experience.
  • A CPO who is a technical analyst must have at least three years of operational experience.
  • Operational Functions: The capacity to apply knowledge of key functional processes and related operating needs to a variety of scenarios.
  • technical understanding of operating systems, browsers, computer hardware, and software, as well as Internet usage.
  • the capacity to do in-depth, independent research and produce original work.
  • Knowledge of a single service, function, or associated department, such as cash handling or accounting, and its relatively complex procedures and practices.
  • Strong written and vocal communication abilities, with the ability to facilitate and communicate throughout training sessions.

Preferred abilities

  • 3+ years of expertise in cash management.
  • knowledge of the ServiceNow knowledge base and ticketing system.
  • knowledge of Tableau.
  • knowledge with numerous Oracle and SQL database querying tools.
