Responsibilities:

Customers will look to you to support our wireline operations in order to help us deliver our best-in-class network. And you’ll be there for them with first-rate technical support and customer service if they have any queries or problems. The retail, wholesale, and enterprise business client bases are supported in provisioning, maintenance, and dispatching by the wireline operations control centers (OCC). Every product level, from FiOS to Next Gen Technology, is supported by our company. You will be a leader in a dynamic, customer-centered work environment as a member of the OCC team. You’ll be in charge of a group of unionized workers that support daily center and field operations.

  • Direct reports are trained, coached, and counseled while employee quality and safety performance is being monitored.
  • Involving workers in managing, assessing, and achieving team performance and business metrics.
  • Evaluating employee performance and effectively communicating feedback.
  • Managing required trainings on system modifications, compliance, safety, and safety measures.
  • Supporting the setup, upkeep, and development of network services.
  • Analyzing data trends and finding the source of problems helps provide solutions for network or customer service problems.
  • Keeping and protecting administrative records for monitoring employee attendance, work records, training records, and other crucial indicators
  • Settling complaints and workplace problems to preserve and improve a pleasant working environment.
  • Travel is necessary within the area of the job.

Where you will be employed

The majority of your work will be done from your home office, with sporadic meetings and training sessions taking place outside of the office.

People depend on you to establish connections at all levels and communicate effectively with both corporate and technical audiences.

Requirements:

  • Four or more years of work experience or a bachelor’s degree
  • Four or more years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Knowledge in managing and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, roughly.
  • Willingness to work a rotating schedule of on-call hours, including on weekends, during holidays, after business hours, and at other times as needed by the firm.

If you own any of the following, even better:

  • A level.
  • Knowledge of the technology or communications industries.
  • Solid communication abilities.
  • Understanding of copper and fiber optic network architecture for exterior plants
  • Powerful PC skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.).
  • Employing virtual collaboration tools in the past (i.e. Zoom, Blue Jeans, Slack, MS teams, etc.).

Compensation

Part-timers’ coverage will differ since, depending on their unique situation, they might be entitled to some of these benefits.

The pay range for this employment, depending on a full-time schedule, is between $77,000 and $143,000 if you are hired into a New York workplace. Your location, verified job-related abilities, and experience will all affect your pay. There is room for growth in this position, which is incentive-based. Your pay will be changed to reflect your hours if you are hired for a part-time position.
