Position Description:

Vice Presidents assist their teams in consistently and effectively executing on strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively on a variety of projects. This role is designed to improve the organization’s efficiency, process, and standardization. The ideal candidate would have excellent project management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities on a daily basis:

  • Create and implement organizational communication plans – Write informative and concise emails, documents, and presentations
  • Directly responsible for the overall planning and execution of All Hands meetings, including end-to-end logistics, as well as working with the leadership team to design the agenda, collect and prepare content, support delivery, and solicit and organize employee feedback to share with leadership.
  • Create and manage the organization’s Confluence site – Create newsletters, draft announcements, and presentations, and provide feedback to teams before sharing with the leadership team’
  • Assemble and distribute the agenda prior to the meeting. – Gather and prepare content. – Capture notes and action items. – Ensure actions are tracked and executed.
  • Monitor progress toward hiring objectives.
  • Arrange All Hands meetings
  • Coordinate strategic processes: Ensure that the leadership team communicates with clarity and transparency to the organization, and that effective action is taken on team culture issues.
  • Simplify logistics: Work with SWE Ops to coordinate and lead key logistical tasks such as space planning, headcount planning and management, talent and compensation planning, budgeting, and so on. Collect and synthesize input from organizational leaders on these topics. Make recommendations from the perspective of the organization.
  • Enhance culture: Assist in identifying cultural gaps and putting diverse initiatives into action. Team surveys, training, communication, transparency, and other activities may be included, but are not limited to.

Education and experience

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred.
