Position Description:

You will have the chance to have an effect as a Full Stack Engineer and work in a variety of FinTech fields, such as bank tooling, engaging with government programs, surfacing savings opportunities, and more! You’ll be working on important and challenging technical issues that improve the lives of our users. A growing system with millions of users will be built and maintained by you, giving you first-hand experience.

What you’ll do is

  • Create software platforms utilized by millions of Americans with low incomes to help them get money back in their pockets.
  • Create apps for iOS and Android with Vue, TypeScript, and Capacitor.
  • Utilize AWS services and other open source technologies to create substantial server-side software with Python and Flask, powered by Postgres and Redis.
  • Make dependable, scalable, and maintainable software.
  • Maintain effective team communication during projects, code reviews, etc.
  • assist with developing our engineering culture and procedures as we continue to grow
  • Work together to select the best projects, provide outstanding solutions, and support the success of your team.
  • To scope initiatives and carry them out on cutting-edge products, collaborate with our product and design team.
  • Take part in our rotating on-call schedule

What you possess:

  • Deep expertise in creating, shipping, and managing complicated full-stack software Knowledge of startup environments or the capacity to function well in ambiguous situations
  • Excitement to go deeply into our product ecosystem and coding to contribute to significant initiatives
  • strong communication abilities for audiences and topics that are both technical and non-technical
  • Willingness to pick up new skills and participate in team meetings, design document reviews, and code reviews
  • degree in computer science or knowledge of the principles of computing elsewhere
  • Python and JavaScript proficiency Passion for improving the lives of our users
  • Great to have: knowledge of or experience with using government services, especially safety net programs like SNAP, WIC, TANF, SSI, SSDI, Medicaid, and Section 8
