Position Description:
You will lead the initiatives to extend our infrastructure and enhance software development procedures while reporting to the Engineering Manager, Platform. You will assist in setting the technical direction for internal CI/CD and the user experience for production development.
What Will You Be Doing
- To create dependable and scalable infrastructure, we need improve and expand our Terraform codebases and procedures.
- Control a variety of Kubernetes clusters that are running containerized microservices
- Create best practices to continuously enhance our systems, procedures, and services at all application levels.
- Create metrics, construct SLA, SLO, and SLIs, and utilize them to guide your work and comprehend your surroundings.
- Utilize the build and deployment infrastructure to produce excellent software in collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
- Support and enhance our release management, automated testing, and continuous integration systems.
- Define and put into place the proper operational automation.
- Using virtualization, containerization, and central OS configuration management, increase the reproducibility of build and test runs.
What You Can Expect From Us
- 5+ years in a comparable position
- understanding of integration and CI/CD tools
- knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and other microservice technologies
- knowledge of AWS technology, such as EC2, EKS, or equivalent
- having experience putting successful branching and release techniques into practice
- being able to delve deeply into various system architectures
- Skillset, including knowledge of scale and developer productivity as well as coding, systems design, architecture, and integration
