Position Description:

You will be in charge of creating a cutting-edge SaaS solution that enables businesses to manage and safeguard their sensitive data in your capacity as a backend software engineer. You will support performance engineering initiatives and guarantee scalable low-latency and high-throughput transactions. The application of best practices in software quality, security, testing, and documentation will be your responsibility.

Since exceptional software engineers typically come from a variety of backgrounds, it’s possible that no one person will have all the necessary talents from the start. However, if you are the kind of software engineer who would have adored to create solutions for the Stripe or Twilio APIs, the Slack or Zendesk app, the Snowflake or MongoDB platform, or any of the other applications mentioned above, we want to talk to you.

Desired Capabilities:

• proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, or Go (recommended).
• performance engineering expertise: creating systems with high throughput and minimal latency
• deep knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, data structures
• knowledge of test-driven development, building testable code, and continuous integration
• a track record of successfully providing distributed cloud-native SaaS platforms at scale and with significant uptake
• Qualities like being a quick learner, flexible in a changing environment, and most importantly, a firm believer in doing things by hand

Responsibilities:

• accountable for creating and maintaining backend infrastructure, privacy APIs, and large-scale data processing
• Participate in performance engineering initiatives and make sure there are scalable, low-latency, and high-throughput transactions.
• Take part in establishing and putting into practice effective test methodologies, as well as creating software that is highly agile and downtime-free.
• Deliver cutting-edge privacy solutions by working with security and privacy engineers.
