Millions of people use our cryptocurrency wallet to connect to apps and financial services built on the Solana blockchain. As a frontend engineer at Phantom, you’ll do everything from making user experiences that people love to making web3 developer SDKs and contributing to cross-platform client infrastructure. This job can be done from anywhere, but we’re only interested in people in the US and EU time zones.

Responsibilities:

• You will be in charge of developing features for our web platforms, which at the moment are the Phantom Extension and our website.
• New projects and things to buy: You will be in charge of projects to add support for other blockchains to Phantom and to release new products or infrastructure that go well with Phantom.
• Interacting with users: You will work directly with end users and developers who are building on Phantom. You will help them and get feedback from them to help shape the future of the product.
• Building a team: You will work with the team to create and support a culture in which each new hire raises the bar.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 or more years of full-time experience as a software engineer with at least one of the following technologies:
• React, Typescript, styled-components, and React-Query.
• Solana web3.js / ethers.js
• Open and community-driven platforms have been shown to be of interest.
• Having worked on a blockchain-based project would be a plus.

When equity and benefits are added, the base salary for this job should be between $150,000 and $250,000. This depends on a number of things, like your skills, previous relevant experience, the quality of your interviews, and market factors (like location) at the time of the offer.
