Position Description:

In order to incorporate our real-time change data capture replication product as a major platform element of our multi-tenant, cloud-native Syniti Knowledge Platform core, we need the assistance of an experienced software engineer.

To meet the requirements set out by the Product Owners, the Software Developer will collaborate with team members to design, construct, and maintain high quality software applications and components.

To deliver high-quality products, you’ll collaborate closely with other developers, QA, product owners, and documentation in this role. By sharing your product knowledge with the Customer Support team, you will help them out and have the chance to collaborate on both individual and group projects.

HOW YOU WILL ACT

• cooperating with architects, other software/applications developers, and Scrum team members
• Execute the assigned C# or VB.
• net coding projects
• Develop tasks and budgets based on feature requirements.
• developing unit tests and taking part in peer code reviews
• adhere to and support design principles and best practices
• By helping with testing and test case design, assist the testing team as needed.
• Assist the Customer Support staff with developing solutions when identifying code defects is necessary.
• Debug complex apps to find faults and bugs that have been reported.
• To improve readability, efficiency, and overall structure, refactor current code.
• To show capabilities and implementation alternatives, create prototypes of new and improved features.
• Observe the instructions of the architects and let them know if there are any problems.

HOW TO GET THERE

• belief in agility and the capacity to present suggestions for improvement on a daily basis
• able to use communication tools like Slack and Google Hangouts
• 4+ years’ minimum experience in C# development
• competent with at least one of the following databases and the SQL language: MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, Oracle, or MySQL
• Experience developing Java applications is a plus.
• becoming familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Computer science or a closely related discipline as a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent technical experience
• thorough understanding of the tenets of agile team management
• knowledgeable in the newest software tools and technologies, excellent database ideas, and designing strategies
• has knowledge of many programming languages and the capacity to resolve issues with coding, testing, and deployment
• Must be meticulous and quick to pick things up
