Position Description:

This position involves operating powered industrial trucks for material handling, including loading, unloading, and moving deliveries within the facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport materials or equipment to designated areas following production schedules or shipping orders.
• Move products on pallets or in crates, ensuring load security.
• Handle empty pallet stacking and report misplaced pallets to the supervisor.
• Conduct daily equipment maintenance like recharging batteries and lubricating machinery.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate RF scanner to scan pallets and use ERP system for cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment, adhering to safety guidelines.

Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent is beneficial but not mandatory.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer in the past 3 years.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in a shipping/receiving environment is advantageous.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

• Work in environments with wet and moist floors, varying temperatures (28°F to 100°F), and varying humidity levels.
• Possible exposure to noise (50db to 110db), dust, feathers, and chemicals used in poultry/food processing.
• Required to wear protective and safety equipment as directed.
• Potential exposure to carbon dioxide vapors (10ppm) and chlorine (<20 ppm).
• Physical activities include standing for long periods, lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, and pushing boxes on conveyor assembly.
