AWS is looking for an experienced Global Sales Representative to keep growing Amazon Connect, which is Amazon’s Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS). The ideal candidate will have global sales experience in areas like call/contact center, customer experience (CX), telecommunications, VoIP, CRM/ERP applications, and/or the integration of these complex solutions. Candidates should be a self-starter and willing to operate both tactically and strategically. As a key team member in this fast-growing, exciting market space, you will have the chance to help drive growth and shape the future of a service category that will have a big effect on our customers’ businesses.
Your job will include building and managing a healthy sales pipeline that drives revenue, adoption, and market penetration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and background that allows them to lead a sales effort that includes working with AWS Industry Account Managers, Solutions Architects, Partners, and engagements at the CxO level within the largest AWS accounts. The right person will also have a business background that lets them lead a project and talk to CxOs and VPs, as well as a technical background that lets them talk to developers and technical architects easily. You should also be able to show that you can think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, build and communicate compelling value propositions, and work across organizations to build consensus.
This job can be done from home, but candidates must live near an AWS office (San Francisco, Bay Area, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Irvine, San Diego, Portland, Scottsdale/Phoenix, Denver).
Responsibilities:
• Grow AWS’s sales and market share.
• Meet or beat annual sales goals.
• Develop and execute against a territory plan to grow customer use of Amazon Connect
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Work with partners and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to increase Amazon Connect’s reach and use.
• Build strategic, long-term relationships with your most important customers.
• Make sure the customer is happy.
• Some travel required.
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of sales experience in technology
- Experience selling software or cloud applications to business customers in the real world
- BA/BS degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Have experience as a sales specialist or overlayer. • Have sold enterprise contact center applications directly or through a partner. • Have sold SaaS solutions before.
• Good communication skills both in writing and in person.
• Proven track record of success in getting enterprise accounts to use disruptive technologies.
• Experience meeting complex customer requirements by working with cross-functional teams \s• Technically proficient
The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $142,800 – 193,199 yr). Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the job, the compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus and restricted stock units, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The base pay range for this position in Jersey City is $157,080 – 212,519 yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the job, the compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus and restricted stock units, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The Pay Transparency Regulation of the Jersey City Municipal Code says that this information has to be given. The information about base pay is based on where the market is.
