The Front Store Growth Analytics team supports our effort to become a customer-centric, data-driven business as part of the Analytics & Behavior Change division. By seeing opportunities and improving customer strategies developed by examining trends in customer shopping behavior, wants, intentions, and answers, this team actively monitors and aids in the growth of CVS customer journeys through franchising. In a dynamic and stimulating environment, the team uses advanced analytics, machine learning, and a hypothesis-driven methodology to quickly translate data into customer-centric, actionable insights. The ideal location for this role will be close to one of our Analytics Hubs (Boston, RI, NYC, Chicago or Irving TX)
Responsibilities:

Pay Scale
The usual pay scale for this position is as follows: 115,000 minimum; 230,000 maximum
Please remember that this range represents the salary range for every position in the job grade that this position belongs to. The location is just one of several variables that will be considered when determining the actual compensation offer.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of expertise in data science and analytics leading studies and projects with a track record of having a positive influence on business
- 3+ years of experience in people management
- 4+ years of experience consulting on strategy or working on strategy teams.
- 5+ years of SQL, Python, R, or related experience
Preferred Requirements
- Strong knowledge of sophisticated analytics tools and languages to analyze huge data sets from different data sources. 7+ years of experience in advanced analytics in enterprise level organizations, preferably in retail.
- Anticipates issues and obstacles and takes preventative measures before they arise.
- Experience in the retail & consumer products sectors is preferred.
- Great aptitude for explaining technical ideas and ramifications to commercial partners.
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, or a comparable level of formal education and work experience.
- MBA or master’s degree in a quantitative subject is preferable.
