The Senior Digital Strategy Manager is in charge of the digital experience that prospects, customers, and producers/brokers have with Cigna Medicare. The Senior Digital Strategy Manager’s job is to help drive innovation, definition, and execution of digital experiences that help bring together Medicare customers and producers in a single ecosystem by working closely with key stakeholders. Work closely with internal and external direct-to-consumer, sales and service operations, product managers, designers, developers, and architects to come up with ideas for new products and make sure they launch quickly, smoothly, and well. Responsibilities:

  • Developing a multi-year digital road map for Medicare products in partnership with the Medicare business and in line with Cigna’s digital strategy and road maps.
  • Making it possible for prospects to get different shopping and enrollment advice and customer-centered help at different stages of their shopping journey.
  • Implementing a strong self-service experience on the web and in a mobile app for all Medicare customers, starting with basic foundational capabilities and moving on to experiences that are different and transformative.
  • Making it possible for Medicare producers to have an integrated experience across the web and Sales CRM.
  • Owns and manages the digital experience for web and mobile applications. This includes the digital interactions that prospects, customers, and brokers have with Cigna, as well as the approach to integrating enrollment systems to help the business grow and scale.
  • Manages business delivery components (like requirements, content, Agile stories, etc.) in coordination with IT delivery components and Design delivery components.
  • Through proper testing and UX rigor, this person is in charge of making sure that the products delivered meet the needs of the constituents in a high-quality way.
  • Measures, metrics, and research that are based on facts are used to drive solutions.
  • Manages the delivery of requirements and how they are linked to capabilities and the business case.
  • Helps to make sure that impact assessments are done for all major programs that have an effect on the digital experience.
  • partners well with marketing to get messages to constituents (internal and external).
  • Listens to and acts on what customers say.

Details of other responsibilities:

  • Defines and ranks the scope based on business metrics that are in line with the right budget and delivery order.
  • Partners with technology, design, and other business stakeholders/matrix partners to carry out a multi-year strategy.
  • The person in this role is responsible for defining the voice of the customer capability requirements and setting the delivery priorities based on customer, market, and business value.
  • Assesses key market factors, such as the competitive landscape, the digital landscape, insights from constituents, and unmet customer and provider needs, to come up with new products, services, and programs.

Requirements:

Qualifications at a minimum:

  • Expertise in managing and building digital products and a proven ability to own digital (web and mobile, iOS/Android) products.
  • Shown a deep understanding of healthcare products and experience with Salesforce.
  • Strategic thinker who can think outside the box of healthcare and put the spotlight on world-class experiences.
  • Ability to get things done, lead cross-functional teams, have an impact on others, and help people work together.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to define metrics that help make decisions about products.
  • Comfortable diving into technical details with systems analysts, developers, and architects.
  • If you have worked with Medicare products, that’s a plus.
  • Needs at least 5+ years of experience in digital strategy and/or development and a BA/BS degree.

If you’re going to work from home sometimes or all the time, you need a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.

We expect to pay between $103,700 and $172,800 per year for this job, depending on experience, location, and other factors.
It is also likely that this role will be eligible for an annual bonus plan.
