Responsibilities:
- Find and gather data from many sources for analysis, modeling, and project creation.
- Cleanse and curate datasets by investigating fresh data sources, working with other business units to choose the appropriate data source, and combining views into useful hierarchies.
- Have a thorough understanding of the data environments and automated processes used in push reporting.
- Proactively seek out chances to solve a variety of business issues, enhance workflows, and promote problem-solving in support of specific business units and cross-divisional projects.
- Investigate and make use of cutting-edge technology to automate and disseminate data and analysis in effective, meaningful ways.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Information Technology departments to improve the database environment for best practices and maximum efficiency.
- Oversee the whole range of project-based activities, from discovery to implementation and support.
- Teach and guide other team members in a variety of disciplines and skill sets.
- Adopt safety-conscious practices throughout all operating processes and procedures.

Requirements:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM)
- Five or more years of relevant experience
- Expertise with SQL and ETL/ELT patterns
- Expertise with Python, SAS, or other programming languages and tools that are comparable.
- Expert-level proficiency in managing and troubleshooting a reporting database environment
- The capacity to work independently, pay close attention to detail, and handle several requests with varied deadlines.
- Strong self-starter who can work alone or with others to solve complicated challenges in a resilient manner
- Consistently places the security and safety of oneself, others, and personal information first.
- Accepts varied persons, ways of thinking, and modes of expression.
- Has a high school diploma, GED, or other equivalent credential.
- Has legal authorization to work in the US and is at least 18 years old.
WHAT (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering, information science, or a comparable quantitative discipline
- Prior airline industry experience
- Knowledge of cloud-based solutioning, including AWS, Azure, GPC, etc.
- Capacity to communicate and work with others within the Operations Analysis & Performance department at various levels.
