The Enterprise Affordability Scoring team is in need of an experienced data analyst, according to the Affordability Governance and Execution team. To carry out effective valuation of enterprise affordability initiatives, this person will be in charge of collaborating closely with the business teams, business analysts of the relevant areas, and the leadership across the Affordability operating ecosystem. To consistently promote data-driven prioritizing of affordability efforts, strong analytical skills, financial prudence, and subject matter expertise are required.
Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and implementation of operational procedures to ensure reliable, dependable, and efficient affordability initiatives valuation.
- Helping business teams create thorough business cases will enable data-driven solutions for affordability.
- Present financial proposals and analytical suppositions to the TCC office for prioritization while working directly with business partners.
- Build Key Performance Indicators in close collaboration with business analysts to enable thorough monitoring of initiatives’ performance.
- Become an authority on the essential solutions you oversee, and help business cases advance with integrity.
- Manage and support a variety of stakeholders, including but not limited to Finance, Actuarial, Analytic Platform, BI, Data Science, Clinical, and Solutions, while managing numerous projects at once. This includes assisting with the creation and adoption of related processes, metrics, and tools.
- Colleagues should be developed and supervised.
Requirements:
- Strong healthcare and insurance industry expertise, experience with healthcare analytics, data science, and actuarial principles, and a track record of team- and cross-functional leadership are all required for this position.
- Preferably in Statistics, Medical Economics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or Business Analytics, with an ASA or advanced degree (or equivalent experience) as a backup.
- At least three years of insurance experience, preferably in financial, actuarial, or analytical roles that use data analytics to actively influence business choices
- A minimum of three years’ worth of direct experience working in the fields of finance, actuarial, underwriting, or contract underwriting.
- Internal working knowledge and expertise in pricing, advanced analytics, medical economics, and related fields in relation to healthcare products, networks, clinical programs, contracting, clinical policies, and operations.
- Strong leadership and verbal/written communication abilities to collaborate with different matrix partners
- Go-getter that enjoys dealing with various company stakeholders and solving problems.
- Strong team player that appreciates the challenge of pushing themselves beyond of their comfort zone and is a curious learner.
- If you intend to work from home on a regular basis or infrequently, you must have an internet connection from a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with minimum download and upload speeds of 10 Mbps and 5 Mbps, respectively.
