As a Provider Data Senior Analyst, you will work with the Credentialing Data Analyst (CDA) team to help the Credentialing Center of Excellence (CCOE) business unit. The person in this position will work in an environment that is flexible and helpful. They will use applications and data to help with a wide range of internal business needs. Members of the CDA team play a key role in coming up with and carrying out initiatives that aim to streamline the collection of accurate, efficient data and the reporting of metrics/KPIs in a clear, honest way.

Responsibilities:

• Keep an eye on, organize, and improve the CCOE’s automation activities.

• Have a good understanding of the guidelines for the Credentialing process and be able to use that understanding in business processes that help the CCOE.

• Come up with and push for new technologies that make the CCOE more efficient.

• Fix problems and/or help the internal CCOE team with their applications.

• Manage and keep up with a variety of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting in SQL, Cactus, Crystal, Access, and Excel.

• Keep track of data and manage activities related to recredential targeting.

• Take care of Visual Basic scripts that download different Primary Source Verifications (PSVs).

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive execution, start action, and make sure that follow-ups are done well.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is strongly preferred, or work experience that is at least as good.
  • Must have at least 2 years of SQL experience, including making queries and stored procedures.
  • Access experience required
  • Solid Excel experience using pivot tables, VLOOKUP required
  • With Unified Functional Testing (UFT), it helps to know how to write scripts.
  • Helpful experience with cactus applications
  • Skills in analysis and critical thinking are needed.
  • Having the ability to learn new technology quickly
  • It helps to know how the business of credentialing works.
  • Must be very organized and have excellent problem-solving skills
  • The ability to build and keep business relationships with CCOE staff and managers.
  • Excellent skills in writing and talking to people
  • Must be able to work in a team and communicate with others. Must have a “can-do” attitude.

If you’re going to work from home sometimes or all the time, you need a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.

We expect to pay between $53,300 and $88.900 per year for this job, depending on experience, location, and other factors.

It is also likely that this role will be eligible for an annual bonus plan.
