Responsibilities:
- Actively and consistently back all efforts to make things easier for customers and improve their experience.
- Analyze, interpret, and explain complex security requirements to Executive and IT management, IT staff, peers, and non-technical team members to help them understand, become aware of, and use good security practices.
- Develop the automation and tool configuration for all detailed technical workflows so that the team can test and review them. This will allow for continuous, ongoing security monitoring of all IT systems.
- Develop automated scripts, reporting, and automation tools to help the internal IT Security continuous monitoring program.
- Provide recommendations on technical guidance and support for a variety of regulatory compliance requirements to the business for the implementation of good security controls within the corporate ecosystem.
- Develop and present root cause and trend analysis reports about security and compliance programs to senior leadership with IT Security, business partners, and peer departments to raise awareness and improve the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Set up plans for projects and communication, and let the IT Security, Compliance, and IT Operations teams know what’s going on.
- IT Security standards, guidelines, and laws need to be interpreted and analyzed so that business partners can get suggestions on how to improve processes.
- Work with business groups to spread information about cybersecurity and learn about their programs so that you can help with security when it’s needed.
- Test in depth the business-defined controls of IT applications to make sure they meet regulatory requirements and work well (i.e. SOX, SOC1, SOC2, PCI and others). Work with business owners to come up with plans for fixing problems based on reviews of assessments.
Requirements:
- More than three years’ experience in IT engineering
- You need to know Python.
If you’re going to work from home sometimes or all the time, you need a cable broadband or fiber optic internet connection with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
We expect to pay between $91,400 and $152,300 per year for this job, depending on experience, location, and other factors.
It is also likely that this role will be eligible for an annual bonus plan.
