What Will You Do:
- The primary objective of this position is to generate business from new logos.
- Manage the entirety of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, discovery, solution development/presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Achieve prospecting objectives through the generation of new leads and opportunities through personal activity (cold calling), trade shows, internal and external conferences, regional organizations, etc.
- Target businesses with annual revenues between $1 and $250,000,000 within your assigned territory.
- Achieve revenue goals and other sales performance requirements, and maintain an opportunity pipeline by qualifying and closing marketing-qualified leads (MQLs).
- Develop a thorough comprehension of your prospect’s business objectives, competition, growth plans, and challenges.
- Position every Lionbridge product and service with the assistance of product specialists.
- Internally communicate strategic data such as market intelligence, key customer data, competitive analysis, and pricing information.
- Advocate for the client, serve as liaison between Lionbridge operations and clients, and maintain a customer-centric mindset.
- Provide internal and external strategic and tactical leadership throughout the sales process for all opportunities.
- Report accurately on forecast/pipeline, account, and opportunity data within a sales force automation (SFA) system.
Requirements:
- A passion for capturing brand-new logos, assisting businesses in becoming and remaining global, and all things language!
- Two years of experience selling to companies at the enterprise level in a variety of industries, including Life Sciences, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Online Games, Retail, Hospitality, Legal Services, and Federal/Government.
- Experience with cold calling for new business involving new logos.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Preferred knowledge of the Language Service Provider industry
- Capability to work independently as well as with a solid team
