Position Description:

One of the opportunities you’ll have as a Growth Specialist (Inside Sales Representative) is to directly address some of healthcare’s most difficult problems. Connecting individuals, notably those in underserved regions, to high-quality, value-based care, frequently at no additional cost, is the focus of this mission-driven position. You will be in charge of making outbound calls and responding to inquiries, which frequently represent people’s first encounters with Galileo and ultimately persuade them to sign up as patients. This is a remote-friendly, high-intensity, self-motivated role that fits well with Galileo’s culture.

Specifically, you’ll:

  • Inform prospective patients about the 24/7 Galileo care model, which has two strengths: 1) exceptional patient satisfaction with interdisciplinary, team-based care, and 2) our highly regarded digital health application, a new standard of virtual care that makes top-notch primary and specialty care accessible and affordable for everyone.
  • Make cold calls to advertise Galileo and attract new patients.
  • Gather inbound interest from marketing awareness initiatives to help with patient scheduling and sign-ups.
  • Drive effective results, such as the scheduling of medical appointments, account activation, and program downloads.
  • Work with marketing to develop, test, and refine your messaging.
  • Increase problem-solving skills through utilizing systems and tools (such as eligibility checking, demographic data, scheduling, etc.).

  • Prior sales experience is necessary, however prior healthcare expertise is desired.
  • A desire to link reward to production
  • Ability to work in a production-focused atmosphere that demands accountability, transparency, and loop closure
  • Maturity to accept criticism, iterate continuously, and solve problems
  • Having the capacity or the desire to learn motivational interviewing
  • Having the ability to multitask and work across several platforms, such as call technology, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and health plan eligibility portals
  • Preferable knowledge of healthcare insurance, consumer trends, and/or referral sources
  • Spanish and English language fluency is a plus
