We seek a Sales Manager to join our dynamic, quickly expanding SMB outbound team! At Toptal, an SMB is defined as a company with a maximum annual sales of $500 million and 1,000 workers. In this position, you will be accountable for a high-performing full-cycle sales team, coaching, training, and developing each team member to their maximum potential.

This position requires a high-energy sales leader with a passion for outbound sales and the pursuit of new logos. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere, leads by example, and isn’t hesitant to collaborate with their team when necessary. We have had three consecutive years of tremendous hyper growth, and you will play a crucial role in furthering our expansion!

This is an isolated location. However, applicants must dwell in the market. We are unable to grant visa sponsorship. Communication and resumes must be submitted in English.


  • As a Sales Manager at Toptal, you will be in the driver’s seat and tasked with innovating and implementing our proven best practices for a new and fast expanding team.
  • You will coach, instruct, and train your team members to achieve success. Since life is not always a bed of roses, you must be comfortable taking corrective action when individual performance falls short of expectations.
  • You will play an active part in the recruiting, on boarding, and development of team members’ talents. You will also have the ability to provide performance reviews, mentoring, and training program collaboration.


  • You have expertise directing at least four individuals. You also exhibited a high level of accomplishment in your previous sales position(s) and are now seeking to advance your career. You are consistently regarded as a leader by your peers. You have a comprehensive understanding of sales products such as SFDC, Sales Loft, and Zoominfo and are comfortable coaching others in their use.
  • Accountable. You have little difficulty taking responsibility for your results and growth areas. You concentrate on what you can influence and hold team members accountable for continually raising their own bar.
  • Critically minded. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build and support data-driven creative solutions.
  • Resourceful. You are a growth catalyst, a self-starter, and an innovation enthusiast. You thrive when you have the autonomy and responsibility to manage a team according to the strategy you devise.
  • Proactive. You understand our aim and will perform the effort necessary to achieve it without being instructed. You lack reactivity.
