Position Description:

You will play a crucial role in helping the Sales Leadership team create the Sales organization as the Regional Director, Enterprise Sales. Building and leading high-performance teams with a focus on the expansion of Segment across Enterprise accounts is essential to success. To achieve the best organizational growth, the ideal applicant will successfully strike a balance between short-term tactical issues and long-term strategic ambitions. You will be a part of a group of enthusiastic, highly driven salespeople who take satisfaction in building new client connections, managing strategic sales cycles, and spreading the Segment message to a large number of accounts in numerous industries.

How you’ll act:

  • Develop and implement a plan to significantly expand our sales team.
  • assemble, train, and equip a group of seasoned corporate sales leaders.
  • Engage multibillion-dollar business accounts at the executive level and help them update their marketing and analytics IT stacks.
  • forecasting the business with accuracy
  • exceeding yearly, quarterly, and monthly sales targets
  • oversee and grow sales through the creation of outbound pipelines and the qualification of incoming needs.

You fit perfectly if you:

  • Have 8+ years of quota surpassing experience, as well as 2+ years of successful team leadership in software/SaaS sales to enterprise accounts. Have a solid grasp of SaaS business models; knowledge of customer data/engagement is a plus.
  • Are based in the Central South region of the US Have the ability to lead and gain the respect of seasoned professionals with significant tenure Are networked to attract top-performing professionals into the sales organization Are strategic enough to establish a team but tactical enough to execute on a daily basis
  • through a large network of channel partners, with a deep awareness of the numerous paths to market.
  • have established a robust sales technique and process around resource allocation, territory planning, assessment, and qualification.
  • are able to prioritize the most important objectives and possess an unwavering commitment to completing them
  • possess outstanding communication skills—both verbal and written—both internally and outside.
  • Desire to industrialize scalable processes within the firm and act as a change-agent
  • Have the capacity to “manage the room” with C-level customer executives and project a polished, professional demeanor.
