Position Description:

You will work remotely for the Director of Sales, establish a sales region, build new connections, inform prospects, and ultimately bring in new revenue from large school districts.

How You’ll Act:

  • While operating in a POD structure, establish a geographic region, build new connections, inform prospects, and eventually push new sales to surpass revenue targets.
  • To establish a solid rapport with the prospects, you will conduct the calls, emails, webinars, and in-person presentations that are required.
  • Show how to effectively expand your region, maintain a current company plan, and construct a solid sales strategy.
  • Develop strong connections to gain in-depth understanding of your region, market trends, competition activities, and financial restrictions.
  • ongoing education regarding our goods and services.
  • Manage product evaluations and work with sales engineers to ensure that our regular POCs are successful to a high degree.

Preferable credentials, abilities, and experience include:

  • 3+ years of successful new business sales experience in edtech
  • Preferably 5+ years of closing experience
  • Ability to work in a consultative setting with a longer sales cycle thanks to expertise in consulting with large school districts and states.
  • K–12 administration and education is advantageous
  • Experience in student wellness, multi-tiered system assistance, or social emotional learning (SEL) is advantageous.
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical concepts to school district staff, both technical and non-technical
