A Sales Representative is needed by Amazon to work with the Kindle Content and Physical Books team. Prospecting potential customers and selling books and content delivery services will be the sales representative’s responsibility. Through the whole sales process, this person will be the customers’ main point of contact.

Responsibilities:

To meet quarterly quota targets, you’ll be expected to: Prospect, close, and launch new SBM, Enterprise, Education, and Government customers; Engage with clients and prospects to learn about their needs and how they fit with the Amazon Books product line; Use Salesforce to track all relevant account data and sales progress; Forecast and prioritize activities; and Provide Account Management following sales to create repeat or referral clients.

Essential job duties

• Sales, value proposition, and strategic planning
• Client onboarding
• Customer service Account development

Requirements:

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS degree or comparable experience, 3+ years of B2B sales experience

FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree
• Good track record of meeting quotas and performance goals
• The capacity to succeed in a dynamic, ad hoc sales environment.
