Position Description:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a software development environment (on both a technical and functional level), possess a strong ability to work within project estimation and process improvement, and have a keen eye for detail. Additionally, problem-solving skills are required, making this an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a technical and business environment at the enterprise level.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional problem-solving and attention to detail; experience with “back office” project aspects (cost assessment, budgeting, financial forecasting, etc.)
- Knowledge of “best practices” within a PM-style environment Capability to work with and coordinate the efforts of multiple third-party vendors (vendor management-heavy)
- Clarity and other tools within the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Automotive experience is preferred.
- Capability to navigate multiple delivery points and deadlines in a project-heavy environment.
- Experience working concurrently on multiple complex initiatives
- Understanding of cross-cultural and cross-functional business experiences with overseas organizations
Responsibilities:
- Assess customer requirements, define deliverables, and ensure accurate project forecasting within both business and technical environments.
- Manage all facets of enterprise projects, from cost budgeting analysis to delivery
- Coordinate third-party vendors within the constraints of the project and ensure timely timelines and delivery
- Establish vendor dependability and ensure the performance of deliverable guarantees outlined in Statement(s) of Work.
- Present project results and status updates to business and technical stakeholders.
- Resolve project problems with management to ensure initiative success
- Assist in determining “best practices” when evaluating existing project management philosophies or creating new ones.
