Position Description:

You will take charge of establishing a team, procedures, and standards to develop and maintain Clover’s technological infrastructure from scratch. To build and maintain a cutting-edge, scalable infrastructure platform that supports domestic and international work loads with a variety of compute, storage, and networking needs, you will collaborate with technical leads in other engineering disciplines, data scientists, and technology professionals. We’re searching for someone with previous expertise setting up and managing workloads and infrastructure that are containerized. Competence in Kubernetes is highly regarded.

The duties of a site reliability engineer include:

• Create solutions for continuous deployment, continuous integration, Kubernetes cluster management, service and workload inventories, and declarative application and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Set priorities for issues and assist in resolving outages, alerts, and issues.
• Contribute to establishing a clear direction for the Site Reliability Engineering team and goals that are compatible with Clover’s corporate objectives.
• Encourage an inter-disciplinary, healthy culture because it is the foundation of high-performing teams.
• By automating the delivery pipeline and database modifications, the procedure can be made simpler.

• You’ve worked with at least one programming language, such as Python, Go, or Shell Script, for two years or more.
• You are well-versed in the latest orchestration and containerization technologies, including Docker, Containerd, and Kubernetes.
• You’ve worked with CNCF-based systems like Kubernetes, Helm, gRPC, and Prometheus.
• You’ve worked with public clouds like GCP and AWS.
• You have a working grasp of TCP/IP, UDP, firewalls, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
• You are familiar with the fundamentals of Linux design and have experience with system management.
• You are aware of the fundamental ideas of SRE, including monitoring, performance optimization, and automation.
