The Datacenter and Network Operations (DCNO) team, vendor resources, and the information technology agile project manager will work together to successfully execute projects while following to established best practices and agile project management methodology. A lightweight, efficient, and simplified approach to managing and coordinating activities across departments and the entire credit union will be improved by an information technology agile project manager.

Responsibilities:

Integration of the project and scope management

• Manage the DCNO team’s day-to-day operations by facilitating agile scrum/activities, events, and meetings, such as retrospectives and the Kanban board.
• Help the product owner with backlog refinement, program, project, and product updates.
• Ensure that demands are understood by the team and make plans for modifications, updates, and new products.
• Promote agile principles to stakeholders and other levels of the organization.
• By locating the appropriate resources to address them, eliminate obstacles or direct the team(s) to remove obstacles.

Risk and issue management for projects

• Manage and communicate risks, suppositions, issues, and dependencies in a proactive manner, providing identification, coordination, mitigation, or escalation as needed.
• Manage project issues, difficulties, and changing business demands to maintain the team functioning at peak efficiency.
• Perform root cause and post-mortem analyses to assist teams in enhancing their procedures and ensuring optimal productivity.

Management of project time, schedule, and quality

• Make comprehensive run books and schedules in order to enable successful, timely iterative releases.
• Make sure the team has taken the necessary steps to provide a high-quality product without making any sacrifices.

Management of Project Human Resources and Communication (Relationships/Resourcing)

• To achieve alignment on shared business, end-user, and release goals, ensure cross-functional coordination, cultivate relationships, and work with cross-functional teams.
• Support the internal technology team’s portfolio and resource management, as well as enterprise-wide resource management for enterprise projects.
• Own and oversee the communication strategy for initiatives that may involve numerous teams.

Project Cost Control

• Manage the financial aspects of IT projects, including the budget and forecast for IT gear, software, and labor.
• Analyze projects’ costs and benefits, and verify your findings with the help of the project’s stakeholders and product owners.

Requirements:

• Necessary education undergraduate degree
• Experience necessary: 3 to 5 years

Required Education, Technical Competence, or Knowledge

• Knowledge of Agile principles (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
• Operations of data centers and networks
• Projects involving networks and infrastructure experience

Certifications, licenses, and registrations are necessary.

• Preferred Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations for Scrum Masters: PMP

Other Preferred Education, Training, or Knowledge

• Knowledge of Atlassian Suite and Jira for Financial Services
• Knowledge with numerous related operating, compliance, and improvement frameworks, such as ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean, and PMI

Abilities and Behaviors, and familiarity with MS Project

• Exposure to business applications, networks, systems, telecommunications, and agile/project management approaches
• 3+ years’ experience in project management and agile technologies
• 2+ years of experience in the financial sector or in a credit union are desired.

The salary range for this remote position, which takes into account different geographic regions, is $73,200 to $118,950 per year. Internal equity will be taken into consideration when determining the basic pay that is actually offered, and it may also change based on the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, abilities, and experience, among other things. Depending on the level and job offered, the remuneration package may include a bonus and/or long-term incentive units in addition to the complete range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
