Position Description:

In order to establish a growth engine inside the Acuity product experience, including directing the visual design direction for www.acuityscheduling.com as well as taking into account onboarding and monetization strategy, we are presently looking for a competent Senior or Staff level Product Designer.

You’ll Be Able To

• Take charge of our unique end-to-end product experience by coming up with fresh ideas to further the experience and finding simple, elegant solutions to difficult situations.
• Take into account a wide range of user wants and objectives to help users better understand the full Squarespace ecosystem and to give them the power to make informed decisions.
• Consider the user journey and product ecosystem holistically.
• Work closely with PM and Engineering partners from concept through delivery to contribute to OKRs, product strategy, vision, and roadmap.
• collaborate with academics on testing strategies, success metrics, and business impacts
• Facilitate user testing and research to ensure usability and consistency of the product
• Create experiences for acuityscheduling.com that are appealing to the eye, usable, and profitable.
• Utilize and enhance current design paradigms while working to advance our design language and systems at the same time
• Create a sitemap, an information architecture, and wireframes.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional departments, such as Marketing and Brand Design.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience required.
• a solid foundation in visual, web-based, mobile-first interaction design and design systems, particularly for SaaS products
• working well in a collaborative environment with product managers, engineers, user research, content strategy, analytics, and product marketing
• extensive knowledge of graphic design, wireframes, sketching, and prototyping for products and websites
• quick to investigate and try new concepts and experiment.
• facilitating user research and usability testing for a living
• Strong presenting and storytelling abilities with the ability to adapt your context to different audiences. Knowledge of information architecture and service design
• Passion for our product and the positive effects it has on society A keen eye for even the most minute details Understanding of current design and technological trends
• It helps to have knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browsers, and devices.
