We’re looking for committed and driven engineers with solid fundamentals in at least one of the following areas: antenna design, system integration, wireless communications, and RF/wireless and electromagnetic theory.

Product RF Design Engineers should be well-versed in RF architecture, design, manufacturing, integration, and other related fields. They are highly knowledgeable in the fields of electromagnetic theory, RF and Wireless circuit design, communication theory, and trade-off in product design. To comprehend complicated system and sub-system interactions, consequences for product level design, and manufacturing trade-offs to enable mass production, they use electromagnetic and system simulation, hands-on prototyping, test and measurement.

Product RF Design Engineers put their knowledge to use in all facets of product design, from concept to final manufacturing, architectural specification through integration and prototyping. They collaborate closely with industrial designers, product designers, and wireless and software architects to direct and shape the product with an eye on maximizing RF/Wireless capability for the user. It can be necessary to travel up to 15% of the time to assist builds from the prototype stage to mass production at manufacturing facilities abroad.

Knowledge & Experience

• BSEE, MSEE, further education, or a comparable degree
• EM, wireless communications, antenna/RF design, or circuits coursework or experience.

Additional Conditions

• Expertise in electromagnetic simulation software

Benefits & Pay

Base pay is one component of the overall compensation at Apple and is subject to a range. This gives you the chance to advance as you gain experience and competence in a position. Your base salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and other factors. The base salary range for this position is between $115,000 and $217,500.
