By accurately generating SKUs and sharing product knowledge with our internal support staff, the Product Data Specialist is in charge of delivering a best-in-class customer experience. They also have to reply to requests swiftly and effectively. Through a range of operational responsibilities, the position supports the Retail and Contract divisions. The team and this function are responsible for supporting and communicating with our internal sales and support teams in a high-volume work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with suppliers to verify lead times and prices for products that are particularly ordered.
  • Provide pricing to the retail and contract sales teams and create and manage unique SKUs.
  • Swatch clearance for Custom (COL/COM) orders should be made easier.
  • Updating and maintaining the retail field’s special order tools and documentation
  • Meet often with merchants to support the introduction of new programs and make sure selling tools are precise and user-friendly.
  • Management may occasionally allocate additional duties or ad hoc tasks.
  • Main point of contact for special order product compliance; collaborate with the product compliance team to implement compliance with TSCA VI, CAL 117-2013, and Prop 65, among other regulations.
  • Provide and oversee the Sales Organization’s daily Special Order support services.
  • Control SKU precision and integrity.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to guarantee a seamless and effective process for special ordering.
  • Fulfills additional duties upon request in order to meet business goals.

  • One to three years’ experience working in a hectic retail setting. Working in operations is a plus.
  • Work capacity central Mon–Fri 8:30–5:30 p.m.
  • Able to work weekends and some evenings when necessary (particularly during Sale periods)
