As the initial point of contact, this person takes incoming calls, answers emails, and processes customer orders. This person is responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective, friendly, and professional communication. This role works closely with direct customers, warehouse staff, Compliance, Accounts Receivable, and other internal and external partners. It is directly responsible to the Director of Customer Operations.

Responsibilities:

• React to and address all client enquiries made by phone, email, mail, and fax, including but not restricted to questions about orders, product availability, and shortage or damage complaints.

• All orders are shipped with Next Day AM delivery, and it is our responsibility to process customer orders accurately and promptly.

• Use the Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS) and the e-commerce system to access orders and help consumers.

• Coordinate and track customer shipments while precisely entering shipping data into the order processing system.

• Ensure that all licenses, powers of attorney, and authorized signers for delivery are promptly updated and preserved.

• Take part in weekly account manager follow-up meetings to advance backlog concerns.

• Handle delivery issues, shortages/damages, and other order exceptions by processing, logging, and elevating them.

• Establishing new client accounts and maintaining daily order data.

• In order to accomplish operational objectives, it is your responsibility to notify customers and cultivate customer connections.

• Carry out duties in line with DEA rules and established standard operating procedures.

• Any necessary administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in order entry.

• Working knowledge of an ERP system (SAP preferred)

• Excel proficiency with Microsoft.

• Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm on-site at the Parsippany, New Jersey office for training

7:30am – 4:30pm Mon. – Fri. After training (WFH on Monday and Friday), hybrid

Hire on a 9-month contract with the option of becoming a permanent employee
