Evernorth Care Group in the Phoenix Valley is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced, customer-focused primary care, adult medicine, and pediatric teams. Monday through Friday, most people work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some hours may be different based on where you are.

Responsibilities:

• As a registered nurse (RN), you will have all of the duties of a medical assistant and a licensed practical nurse (LPN), plus you will be the clinical arm of your department.
• Sort calls and concerns from patients and call them back after they’ve been in the hospital or the emergency room.
• Help the clinician handle the patients’ complex health care needs and lead and support the back office and front office staff when it comes to patients’ concerns or the center’s needs.
• Maintain supportive relationships with team members from different fields so that we can give our patients the best care possible.
• You may also be asked to draw blood from ports, start and keep simple IV infusions going, assess and triage emergency situations in the clinics, and provide clinical support to LPNs throughout the day.
• Help answer questions, concerns, and requests in person, over the phone, or through our electronic health record (EHR) and patient portal.
• Make sure the clinic runs every day, and use your organizational skills to help us meet the health care needs of a wide range of patients.
• Follow all rules and procedures correctly while giving great customer service.
• Follow the limits of your license when you do your job.
• Make sure you keep good records of the care and information you give our patients.
• Manage ambiguity in the right way and know how to deal with conflicts in the right way.
• All other tasks as they are given.

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

• RN Authorization to work in the state of Arizona
• Diploma from high school or a GED
• BLCS Certification
• Excellent customer service skills and care deeply about giving customers kind, high-quality care.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to enter data into our electronic health record system.

Qualifications that are best:

More than a year of experience working with outpatients. ACLS certification. Skills in both English and Spanish.
