Position Description:

In order to lead Edmentum’s marketing automation and account-based marketing (ABM) tech stack, manage key marketing requests and initiatives, and advance Edmentum’s marketing analytics initiatives, the industry-leading provider of K–12 digital curriculum, assessments, and services is looking for a Marketing Manager – Operations. A highly collaborative, communicative individual with extensive experience in project and process management, marketing analytics, and martech optimization is required for this newly formed job.

Essential responsibilities and duties include:

  • Tech Management • Be a consultant and advisor for teams using Marketo and Demandbase to help identify trends, optimize campaigns, improve segmentation, and create efficiencies. • Oversee administration and implementation of MarTech tools, including but not limited to our marketing automation platform, ABM system, project and task management systems, and analytics and reporting platforms. Project management • Manage the internal request process, vetting and executing on necessary sales enablement deliverables including web page content and customization, brochures, email campaigns, PPT slides, etc. • Drive visibility, transparency, and accountability across the marketing team for key strategic campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Establish a standardized procedure for all significant strategic initiatives, and assure stakeholder involvement and responsibility.
  • Work together with project leads to set and adhere to certain timetables; monitor project milestones; and proactively handle difficulties.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for marketing in order to make sure that all jobs can be repeated, increase process efficiency, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all inbound marketing requests across the organization; coordinate timetables, keep tabs on priorities, and update important stakeholders on developments..


  • Strong understanding of B2B data architecture; minimum 5 years’ experience as a Marketo administrator or administrator of a comparable marketing automation product; expertise with SFDC; Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline; 7–10 years of related experience
  • Ability to swiftly acquire and master new marketing technology; Knowledge of or ability to quickly study the K-12 market and Edmentum’s alignment; Preference for project management certification; A fearless, creative marketer who prioritizes educators • A strong communicator and team player with the capacity to forge cross-functional alliances and control expectations in order to drive deliverables
  • Energized by deconstructing fresh information and distilling key takeaways to develop and put into practice coordinated marketing activities Strong verbal and written communication abilities with the ability to persuade others to accept your point of view Flexibility, creative problem solving, a positive attitude, professionalism, and teamwork are necessary for this function to be successful. You should also be proficient in a Windows-based environment and MS Office, particularly PowerPoint. Finally, you should be able to travel up to 5%.
