Position Description:

As a key leader on Lyra’s corporate communications team, we are searching for an exceptional social media practitioner to drive our global initiatives. The ideal applicant is an enthusiastic and dynamic leader who deeply appreciates and actively promotes engaging with people through social media brand promotion, impact, and storytelling. Because the quality of our service is the foundation of Lyra’s brand, outstanding content strategy, content creation abilities, and attention to detail are essential in this role. We are looking for a director who can creatively elevate Lyra’s unique voice and mission in order to expand our brand’s position as a mental health authority and compassionate resource for persons in need of care.

The person in this role should grasp the complex terrain of mental health concerns and be interested in immersing themselves in knowing the audiences we serve, which include clients getting care, clinicians providing that care, and employers wishing to increase benefits for their staff. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should be enthusiastic to apply a DEIB lens to all tasks. Individual identity is an important aspect of mental health, and the ideal candidate can combine sensitivity with a desire to advocate.

Responsibilities

  • In charge of Lyra’s organic and paid social media campaign.
  • Assist Lyra’s brand and thought leaders as a proactive evangelist for mental health.
  • Drive active awareness and participation across many social media platforms.
  • Assess and create a presence on new platforms.
  • Manage social listening, proactive and reactive messages on a daily basis.
  • Maintain brand consistency in creative content by utilizing tone, voice, and language.
  • Drive collaboration throughout the marketing department to amplify campaigns by ensuring DEIB considerations are applied to every material (creative, content, events, subject matter experts, customer advocacy)
  • Create strong employee advocacy programs and campaigns that are tailored to our subject matter experts (clinicians, execs, product leaders)
  • In charge of Lyra’s social media influencer program.
  • Create KPI measurement and attribution frameworks that connect social metrics (such as brand affinity, engagement, reach, and so on) to business objectives (such as conversion, signups, app downloads, traffic, etc.)

Ideal Attributes

  • 13+ years of social media marketing expertise is required; high-growth marketing experience is desirable.
  • Outstanding content strategy, writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
  • Executive thought leadership coaching and development track record
  • A keen attention to detail, especially word interpretation
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining strategic influencer initiatives
  • Capable of developing motivating and effective employee advocacy campaigns
  • Proven track record of engaging online communities in compassionate yet educated discussion about health issues (preferred)
  • Strong project management abilities, as well as the ambition and ability to operate cross-functionally
  • Expert-level understanding of campaign measurement and reporting Self-motivated with the capacity to prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Expertise in graphic design tools (Figma, Canva, Illustrator)
