An experienced and well-known plaintiffs’ personal injury law practice is looking for a paralegal to assist in their pre-litigation division. Candidates for this contract to hire position must be local since they will need to occasionally travel to the office (in the North Bay), even though the job can be done mostly from a distance.

Please take note that this person must be multilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Organize client meetings and stay in touch with clients.
• Perform the client intake
• request for medical records
• write and mail letters of demand;
• Investigate and gather information for the pre-suit examination.
• Help with fact-finding, analysis, and background checks on parties and witnesses.
• Speak with witnesses
• Obtain written statements and affidavits.
• Examine and evaluate the documents
• Keep track of petitions and forms

Requirements:

• Experience in law before
• Spanish language fluency is necessary.
• knowledge of a case management program (ie: Needles, MyCase, Clio, etc)
